Kasol, is a village situated on the bank of Parvati River, in district Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. Kasol is famous for a lot of Israeli tourists and is full of Israeli Cafes serving extraordinary food from all over the world.
The best and the cheapest option to travel to Kasol is through Volvo Bus from Kashmere Gate, Delhi. We recommend the Himachal Tourism buses, because of the neatness of the buses and the punctuality. You can book the bus well in advance from www.redbus.com, it would cost you Rs. 1250/- per person. The Journey to Bhuntar would approx. take 12 hours. From Bhuntar, you can take the local Himachal Tourism buses which will drop you straight to Kasol, the bus would charge you Rs. 30 to Kasol from Bhuntar. The other option to travel from Bhuntar to Kasol is taxi, which is easily available upon reaching Bhuntar. The bus journey to Kasol, is full of breath taking views with loads of dams and the Beas River continuously flowing besides you.
Day 1
Check in to your hotel in Kasol and have breakfast. We stayed at Parvati Kuteer, and absolutely loved our stay. The hotel located on the Parvati River, is undoubtedly the best hotel in Kasol.

You can visit Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib on the first day and have the Langar. The Gurudwara is built on a hot spring, and is known to have healing properties if one takes bath in the hot spring. We also visited Malana village this day, this village is secluded from the outside world, and no vehicle can go upto the valley. The only way to reach the valley is to trek 2 Kms, the village is famous for Malana Cream, which is a much pure form of weed. One can easily find Marijuana plant grown on the village mountain. The villagers believe themselves to be the descendants of The Great Alexander, and refrain to be in contact with the outside world. We even saw a board on the village temple, which stated that there is a fine of Rs 3000 if anyone touches the temple.

Day 2
We decided to camp this day at Kutla. For reaching Kutla, one needs to trek through Tosh. We had pre-booked our camp - 'Campin' Wild' through our hotel, 'Parvati Kuteer'. The trek to the camp is 4 Kms long, but was tiring for us because of the wet terrain due to the recent rains, otherwise it is a comfortable trek. Our host, Mr Roshan has built an absolutely wonderful camping place at Kutla. It is the last camp at Kutla and upon reaching you absolutely forget the tiredness. You are just captivated by the beauty of the place.
The hospitality we received was just amazing, and it was the best food we had in this whole trip. All the camps are extremely neat and clean, with air beds which makes camping really comfortable. Day 3
On our third day in the valley, we went to visit a small waterfall ahead of Kutla, it was just a 2 kms trek. It is just great to trek in the mountains, we trekked to every place we got a chance to. This day we returned back to Kasol, but if we hadn't done our bookings for the next day, we would have surely loved to camp one more day at Kutla.
Day 4
We stayed in Alpine Guest House, which is located in the Kasol market, but we didn't like it so much due to basic cleanliness issues. The bed sheets and the towels were extremely dirty, and the hospitality was also not up to the mark.
We had reserved this day for roaming around Kasol and visiting the market. The market offers a lot of unique stuff like, hippie clothing, silver jewellery, handmade woollen clothing and dream catchers. It is a perfect place for picking up knick-knacks for friends and family.
