Finally after all of these discussion our Boss announced a trip to kasauli !!

4. Monkey Point

Monkey point is basically a Hanuman temple on hill top, which is said to be the spot where His (Lord Hanuman's) feet touched while he was on his way to fetch Sanjeevani booti for Lord Lakshman when he was injured during the battle of Lanka. Top has a huge footprint of Lord Hanuman.

Its located inside an air force station, so the area is quite strict and secure, due to which no electronic devices are permitted inside. Yep.. can't take any photos of the breathtaking view .. ALAS !!.. well that's what made the experience bit more charming.

You climb up the flight of stairs running uphill and thereafter reach the top. The time to top will easily be 20-25 minutes on average. Do take proper stops and relax while going up.

You will be greeted by 10s and 100s of monkeys. All busy in their different activities. Beware, they might want to play/attack you as well :)

The top has a great view of all the adjoining hills and a beautiful peaceful atmosphere to sit and relax.

The entry closes 4.15 PM so better reach before hand.

5. Mall Road Kasauli

Mall Road is the busiest region in kasauli town that offers numerous shopping options. All the activity in Kasauli is centered on the upper and lower Mall roads. The main market of Kasauli is also located on the Mall road. we had a stroll on the road while enjoyed some yummy momos & Chai. From Mall road we started for the most Horrible part of the trip, i still get goosebumps when i recall it, we were heading to Dagshai Gravyard, i had never been to a Graveyard before. so, for me it was going to be something unimaginable.

6. Dagshai Graveyard

Word “Dagshai” is drived from ‘DAAG-E- SHAI’ meaning a royal mark which was branded on the forehead of 'anti socials' who were arrested and sent here.It is built by the British as a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients, it has a British era graveyard overlooking a valley.

At 5689 feet above the sea level, Dagshai's superior cold breeze not only infuses one’s lungs with opulent oxygen but also natter of its rich historic presence. It transports the visitor to a life where time has stopped.

while we reached there at around 6:30 pm, Doors of this graveyard closes around 7 pm in the evening after that security guards leave this place hence no one is allowed to enter post 7 pm. well it was only half & hour left for the doors to be closed and we reached around 6:30 pm, we had to request the guards to let us in... But still, i was parallelly praying tha Gaurd's deny so that i could escape that place as i was totally numb from the moment we started for graveyard. but equally i wanted to go inside as well ;) so there was this fear & courage dominating each other frequently, but finally courage won & we were inside the graveyard. its a multistory graveyard.

remembering this place still gives me goosebumps as i was holding my fellow colleague's hand whole time and asking her to not leave my hand, i did not let her leave my hand not even for a second until we moved out of that place. Whole time i was constantly chanting in my mind. Aaahhhh how kiddishhh i was to face this experience in my life, May be because it was the very first time i saw a graveyard. But that feeling still goes alive when i remember this place or see the pics it was a lifetime experience for me.
