Here, my journeys start when I was a kid, I started to go to the northern part of India and now my journey countinues as a solo traveller. If my memory serves me right, it was on May 3rd week 2019, I went to the eastern part of Himachal Pradesh so called as Spiti valley.. a wide range of portion which is proximity to the himalayas as well as to the Indian - Tibetan border.Chitkul, one of the untouched destinations in the spiti area, which is proximity to the Tibetan border. Chitkul village which comprises less than thousand population in number. This village is located at the bank of the river bapsa. Reaching to chitkul is one of the another adventures by road.. we have to hire the bus from Reckon peo from their it takes 4 hours of journey through one of the difficult roads in India. I have given a shakehand to the bus driver. Innorder to meet their bread and butter, they are doing such a stand out job.
Chitkul will covered with snow during the winter season. The common folks cannot go for work for those 6 months. They do store their required quantity of food and other things during the beginning of winter season. Life in chitkul is something different from other rustic villages in Himachal. They have their own culture. We can see the last Indian dhaba ( restaurant ) overthere. Having food from that dhaba was one of my dreams. We can experience an enchanting beauty of river bapsa and the ceeder forest which is proximity to the himalayas, from this dhaba. The world's highest post office which is located in a village called Hikkim which is proximity to Kaza village.Asia's highest bridge, Chicham bridge is in the Kibber village, which is en-route Key monastery. Their are alot of people who would like to travel alot, but their circumstances made them to sit at home. The ultimate purpose of my jouneys is to share my experience to those people and inspire them to travel with me. 😍
