An itinery for Himachal.
With a gap of a decade traveling again to my most favorite place, Himachal Pradesh. Love for the offbeat places have always made our plans off the track. Seeing the snow clad range have always dilated my pupils to max, send a gush of adrenaline in my vessels, filled my heart with excitement more than blood.
We started our journey by boarding the Kalka shimla express toy train. And witnessed the mesmerizing summer getaway of Himachal at its raw. Capturing each turn and tunnels with sheer awe.
Though its a busiest city of Himachal yet it holds some offbeat places which are a blessing to nature lovers.
Places we went in Shimla are
Its a place curtained by clouds. Situated at a height of 8884ft, it is rich in landscapes that looks more like a painting.
It is a research institute built by English men in 1884 and set up by Indian Government, is a beautiful and peaceful place to take a stroll.
A few more like Kufri, Jakhu temple, the Ridge along with the Church are quite sort after.
An alluring town surrounded all around by the mighty Kinnaur-Kailash range , having bountiful picturesque moments for travellers.
Each Kinnauri town has its own charm. A walk on the roads will keep one mesmerized forever. One could go till Chitkul and Rakchham, as its the last Indian village. Our unfortunate fate was favoured with blocked roads.
Our rafting stop was in Auts. An incident to share was when our driver became the saviour of a puppy, stuck on the cliff for nearly 2days. Whao! What a releif.
This is a gift of himalayas, being nestled in the Beas river valley.
There's naggar castle, a historical edifice amidst forested hills.
Solang valley adventures' paradise.
Then there's Rohtang pass, Hidimba temple, Vashist ashram and a plethora of places marvelling at being blessings to travellers around the world.
A place we tucked in was Cafe 21 in Manali, had its own enchantment. Just embankment to Beas, the crisp of fresh wind, blowing your hairs is bound to take all the anxiety and weariness away. Feasting on Trout we ended our most desirable trip.
