Day 1

Arrival in Kasol

After a scenic 12-hour bus journey from Delhi, I arrived in Kasol, feeling excited and ready to explore. The evening bus from Majnu ka Tila offered a comfortable ride despite the bumpy roads. We made a stop for dinner around 11.30 pm, and as the journey continued, the Himalayan beauty greeted us. At around 5 in the morning we stopped for tea break. The sun rays were just breaking the sky and the view was absolutely beautiful. By 7.30 am, I reached the Bhuntar bus stop, where I hopped onto a local bus that took just over an hour to reach Kasol. I had pre-booked a hotel near the main market, and the lively atmosphere of the place instantly captivated me. Without wasting any time, I freshened up and ventured out to discover the picturesque surroundings.

My first stop was the renowned Little Italy café, known for its delectable trout fish and must-try Shakshouka served with fresh Pita bread. After enjoying a scrumptious brunch, I headed towards the Parvati River, soaking in the peaceful yet vibrant ambiance. Sitting by the riverside, I marveled at the beauty of the surrounding nature. In the evening, I strolled through the bustling market area, immersing myself in the vibrant atmosphere and exploring the various cafes that dotted the lanes.

Day 3

Visit to Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara

On my second day, I decided to visit the revered Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara. Located a short distance from Kasol, this spiritual site holds immense significance for both Sikhs and Hindus. I immersed myself in the serene environment and savored the langar offered at the Gurudwara. After visiting the Gurudwara and nearby temples, I decided to explore the local market known for woolens made up of yak wool, dry fruits and handicrafts.
Thereafter, I took the local bus and journeyed towards Tosh, a quaint village nestled at the far end of the Parvati Valley. The scenic beauty of Tosh captivated me as I reached the place. Even though I had booked a hotel online (pay at hotel mode) when I reached the address, it turns out that the hotel has long been closed due to it being on a Forest Land. I had to ask around for hotels and hotels for a place to stay. Luckily within hour hour I found a hotel nearby only that charged INR 500 per night, which was within my budget. The balcony had an amazing view of the snow capped mountains.

Day 5

Trek to Kutla

Eager for more adventure, I embarked on a trek to Kutla. Even though the sign said mere 40 minutes, it took me over 1.5 hours to reach the top. On my way, I met two Israeli guys who were collecting trash from the ground ro keep the trail clean. I had a brief interaction with them and then continued on my trek. It led me through dense forests, enchanting me with the beauty of nature. As I reached the top, I was rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The trek to Kutla was an invigorating experience that allowed me to truly appreciate the wonders of the region.
Even though it was June beginnning, it was super chilly there. The trek helped me in keeping my temprature normal. After spending the whole afternoon there, I decided to head back to Tosh as it was starting to get dark. By the time I reached my hotel it was already dark. I decided to go to a local place nearby for dinner.
