One of them is Kalatop which is near Hill station Dalhousie which is about 10 kilometres from Dalhousie.

Average elevation of Kalatop is about 2500 meters which is higher than that of Dalhousie.
Kalatop offers stunning view of mountains, pine,deodar and oak forests.

We visited this place on 9th September 2023. We stayed in Smart hill Kalatop.
That stay is in reserve area.
We paid 250 rs to enter reserve area when we cross lakarmandi there is a barrier for prohibited area. Everyone have to take permit costs worth 250.
There is no proper road to reach home stay because of reserve area. Path is drastic as there is only one way side with no marbles even, only pagdandi pathway but views are magnificent. That views with hard roads make a adventure trip. We didn't think about that way. But when you reach Kalatop, pure nature give you warm welcome. All of your fatigue goes off after seeing beauty of Kalatop.

There is a famous wildlife Sanctuary in Himachal Pradesh named Kalatop -Khajjiar wildlife Sanctuary. To explore wild life you must visit Kalatop. This wildlife Sanctuary is a habitat of many wild animals like

There is a theme park named Kalatop park in Kalatop. That park have all things to enjoy. All home stays are inside that theme park. You choose homestay according to your budget. You reach your destination after step down. While step down on mountains you see sunset point, sunrise point and other points. Park is well maintained. You get all necessary things in Kalatop.

While trekking downstairs to reach our home stay I saw tea stall ☕ with garm garm pkora north spicy snacks fried in oil. We cannot miss that hot tea and pkora in chilly evening. It almost seems dark when we reach Kalatop , weather is cold and we want hor tea. So we enjoy it. My mom faces difficulty while down stairs because of knee problem.
We stayed in Smart hill hotel. Cost of one room for one day starts from 1200. Hotel is neat and clean with big balcony on each floor. There are some chairs and table in balcony to sit and enjoy nature while doing breakfast, lunch, dinner.
We ordered dinner that was fresh, delicious and non spicy just like home food.
