Guna mata trek

The guna mata trek invites pilgrims and nature enthusiasts on a spiritual journey through the mesmerizing landscape of "Dhauladhar range".This trek stepped with mythology and adorned with natural beauty leads to sacred shrine of guna mata. The trek starts from Naddi view point. The trek both up and down, back to naddi view point, rok about 7 hours. You will we need to take care yourself as well. The locals, few shopkeepers and Shepherd do this trek every day. Just have good shoes and carry water. Moderately difficult, a bit dangerous(which is given,since this is a mountain side trek),but highly enjoyable. A must try in mcleodganj.

How to Reach
This small complex discover beautiful and closer view of Dhauladhar mountain. It starts from Dal lake, 4km from mcleodganj. From naddi a 2km moderate trial amidst house of naddi village lead to Baal village after crossing a bridge over a small stream.

Best time and Tips
If you planning for Dharamshala then you can plan for April -may. In this time weather is fine, after may there is a little bit risk of rain that will ruin your plan.

1)If you want a budget trip then go with Government buses of Himachal pradesh. It will take 9-10hrs to reach your destination. You can prefer ordinary buses or volvo buses from kashmiri gate Delhi to Dharamshala.

2) You can stay same day at Dharamshala and visit the local markets and World's Beautiful cricket stadium Dharamshala.
