Dance..Travel..Himachal

The moment I reached here,I skipped a breath.How come a place be so beautiful,calm,serene and beautiful yet no crowd. I was lucky enough to reach Shangarh alone,so that I could feel the real beauty of it.After been to almost places of Himachal I found this place is to be my home forever.

Shangarh is a small Himachali village situated around splendid meadows and The Great Himalayan National Park,Surrounded with pine trees and snow clad mountains this place makes you stunned for a while.I would say telling anything about this place is less in front of this vastness of Nature ❤🌲

So my next move was to find a stay for myself and I got it very easily as the mini truckwala I asked lift to come to Shangarh has its own Homestay which was very close to Meadows,I loved the view from my room and it was totally worth it 😊

So while I was moving around on the Meadows, as A Dancer I could not stop myself dancing on the music of guitar playing by another solo traveler,I asked him whether I can dance on his tune,and he nodded :) Later we became friends and he shot me too while I was dancing 💃

So as I reached quite late to Shangarh,I took rest for the time and then waited for next morning to see the place in sunshine.After finishing my breakfast headed to Meadows to see more of it.I got close the Shanchul Mahadev Temple,as its a wooden carved beautiful inside out.There are many stories about this place. 1.Lovers of runaway couples get suppory in shangchul Mahadev Temple,God himself protect them.They say that there is no one who has no God.  2.When the Pandavas stayed here at the time of the unknown, the Kauravas reached here chasing them. Then Shangchul Mahadev returned the Kauravas saying this. Mahadev told him that this is my territory and anyone who comes to my shelter can't spoil anything.

How to reach Reaching here is from Delhi is not a tough task.Take a Manali Volvo and get down at Aut tunnel,from there you will get a local bus till Sainj,which is around 20kms from there and cost 30rs.As Sainj is a base village to Shangarh you can get many shared taxis here or a HRTC bus runs in the evening 5pm,its a 15kms journey.Sharing taxi takes 100-150 pp and Bus takes 20rs. Another way to come direct by taxi from Aut tunnel which takes approximately 1500 feom there to Shangarh.So if you are in group,its more feasible.
