I was very sure about this that before this year 2020 went I have to do something challenging as this year was so that It will be in my heart forever and I decided to go on a trip to Chitkul. you must be thinking what's challenging in this! okay fare enough let me tell you how difficult is to be on Chitkul especially during winters.

Day-1 My initial plan was Kedarkantha trek TBH but when I got to know that there are 1000 of people going to summit kedarkantha on 1st of January I changed my mind and I booked my trip solo trip with a travel community, where I was solo but with a bunch of strangers/co-travelers, before booking it wherever I was reading about Chitkul I found that this is not at all an ideal time to visit, but inner me was I will do this no matter what! and I went for it which begin form Delhi To Shimla To Sarahan - Now this stretch took us 20 Hours to reach Sarahan where we obviously stopped by Chandigarh first for dinner then Shimla for our breakfast and then Sarahan finally which is in Shimla District but very close to Kinnaur its a beautiful, quiet village where we stayed over night it was hell cold that we all get scared that if this is the condition here then how will we survive in Chitkul.

Day-2 Sarahan To Sangla To Chitkul :- Started our drive by morning 10 and it took us almost 4 hours to reach sangla though its only 83 KM but because of snow all around we have to drive slow and thats the reason this journey went too long when we reached Sangla it was around 3PM as obviously we stopped in between for washroom breaks. we all were super hungry so grabbed our lunch in Sangla and immediately head to our Final Destination yes thats our stay in CHITKUL by the name Final Destination.

we wasn't aware by the fact that there will be no running water, no electricity sometime, No Network, no fancy things to eat but all we will have is sky full of starts snow capped mountains around us, sound of baspa river and this year 2020 wouldn't been this precious and special for me.

Kehte hai na- Takleefon ke badal chat jaate he Umeed bhari Subah uur bhi Sunehri ho jati hai! and thats how our last trip of 2020 and first trip of 2021 was rocking and killer as we all enjoyed without any phone network we had only this beautiful place to our selves where we got to know each other well high on life and high on cold we made it till here in -13 degrees was the temperature but it all worth it.
