I started my solo journey from Delhi to mcleodganj friday night around 10.30 pm I prefered to took Volvo bus that cost me 1100 rs ,you can get bus from majnu ka tila near by metro to reach bus stop is kashmiri gate .
I reached dharamshala bharat petrol pump next day early morning 6.30 am from there i took local cab till my hotel location in mcleodganj, cab took 300 rs till main square . then i took a walk of 5 min to reach my guest house which is run by one local aunty .i always prefer to stay wid her .
This is the morning view from my guest house room , this room cost me Rs 600/- per day Most of the guest are isrely in this guest house how stay for long duration . These people are just like family to me as we sit together for morning tea and breakfast ,and in night we sit and enjoy singing
This is ma cutest friend who always wait for me when ever i visit mcleodganj.He is our guest house cooks son and favourite of all the guest of Valley view Guest house. I feel like home at this place as he is there to talk and knock my door early morning for tea.
This way to my hotel is amazing , i was walking alone in the morning to reach my guest house , while i was heading toward it i also met ew local ladies who are collecting woods for fire from here ,i prefered to walk along so that i can talk to them and know about their lifestyle.
I also met these cute friends on my way . i dnt know why but they don't want to leave me and was walking with me all the way . I must say Mountains dogs are the most friendly and lovable and innocent .
This is what i made at Bhagsunag waterfall while i was enjoying cold water sound passing through my feet.
Sitting at this waterfall and feeling this cold water is so amazing ,i prefered to walk till this water fall from my guest house and it took almost 40 min to reach this palec As i love walking in mountains so for me it was the best way to explore mcleodganj local market and food also.
i can't stop my self to click picture at this point as you can witness this water fall completely from here.
While coming back to my hotel this is what i had seen. Its actually sad that we people are spoiling the beauty of hills by throwing plastic everywhere,this message is actually correct ,we all need to think about it before we spoil this beauty.
Sitting at this water wall making this through small water stone took me in may childhood days.i just lost completely in this and i forgot that sagar is taking this picture of mine.
finally in the evening i came back to my guest house as i was so hungry so cook uncle made dal chawal for me which i can not forget as it was so amazing and tasty .Sitting outside this cold weather and enjoying hot local food Dal chawal is some this of next level experience for me.
Who said always hotels are the best option when you are a girl and travel solo .In my opinion if you want to feel the place and culture of that place you must try to stay with locals and enjoy local food . This experience you will not get in any hotel . Make sure you chose good home stay or guest house wherein you feel safe . In low budget also you can enjoy so may places in india . Though i'm doing these low budget trip solo to cover most of the places of Himachal , Stay connected as i'm going to share few more my budget trips of himachal with you all very soon.
