Andaman - Blue Water Paradise #BackToTheBeach

If you have seen Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani then you must have heard this dialogue- “Yaadein Mithai ke dibbe ki tarah hoti hai.. ek baar khula to ek tukda nahi kha paaoge”.. so let us open our mithai ka dabba..😁

Andaman is famous for its history, beauty, cleanliness and of course for under water.

We have visited so many beach destinations so far but Andaman beaches are beyond comparison.

Here are our itinerary-

Day 1- we arrived our hotel at Portblair.. an ordinary hotel with an extraordinary view - we had witnessed with beautiful sunrise at the sea shore.

Visited few tourist places like Corbyns Cove Beach and Cellular Jail, a place of pilgrimage for all freedom loving people. One can also view the history of the heroic freedom struggle which is brought alive in a moving Light & Sound Show at the Cellular Jail.

Day 2 - We left for Havelock islands it was 2 hours journey. We visited to Radha Nagar Beach which is Awarded as Asia’s Most Cleanest and longest beach. After that we hired one scooter and roamed around.. I must say Havelock should be in bucket list of every natural beauty lover ❤️.. we hadn’t lunch and dinner at our resort instead we ate at local homely restaurant and it’s fish curry was amazing..our believe is to taste local food whenever you travel. In Havelock most of the resort have their own beaches so in the evening we just rested there on the beach, sat on the swing and no one we had seen there except few fisherman

Day 3 - At Havelock, We went to elephanta beach for under sea diving but being a non swimmer so we got scared to do it.. Though We did sea walk which was also a thrilled experience. And then Back to Portblair.

Day 4 - Visited Chatham Mill Saw, few Museum and shopped some pearl.

Day 5 - Visited Ross Island, the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British regime. The island presently houses the ruins of old buildings like Chief Commissioner’s House, Government House, Church, Bakery, Press, Swimming Pool, Cemetery, etc. and all in dilapidated condition.

Day 6 - Left for our places with lots of Memories.

** Few points to remember before you make your itinerary -

1. Most of the places our quite far from each other hence please include travel time as well while you plan.

2. All tourist places are closed once in a week for cleaning so please check the closing day of the place when you plan.
