A 4 days trek with your pack of wolves from Dalhousie to Chamba!

Dalhousie
The journey of mine started from Mumbai. Meeting my friends at Pathankot station. So the train left at morning 7.30 am reaching Pathankot by next day 6pm. The train costed me around 1600 bucks. So there I met my pack of wilder's! We took a local bus from Pathankot to Dalhousie. It took just 20 bucks. It was fully packed bus. Reaching Dalhousie by 9,it was fucking cold for me mumbaikar. The temperature was around 2 degrees. Taking the bag packs and running towards the basecamp is what we did! Checking in our names,we threw our bags in our rooms,guys separate and girls separate. It was freaking hard to take a water onto your body to be fresh. We went for dinner immediately as the timing for dinner closes by 10. So we had the dinner and then there was a plan discussed by leaders for the next day. So we were supposed to wake up by 4.30 morning and report down by 5. Making our mindsets,we cuddled into our sleeping bags and off we slept. Waking up early dawn,they had planned our walk in Dalhousie itself with a warmup earlier. It was just a practice session. We went towards a popular waterfall there for 5kms. Then by 9 we returned back to town. There was introduction there. Then at Gandhi chouk we were left for street shopping. And then back to hostel. We literally slept as a dead man! Lol! We were awakened by our fellow trekkers for lunch. Then the next day plan was on.

Dalhousie to Kalatop
Waking up early and leaving te base camp at 6 am was happened. We had an enthusiasm flowing! It was normal 10km trek with ups and downs in area,but we had fun walking or running in between the long long trees. We reached the 2nd camp by 11. Soaking in the sun for few hours,we had lunch and took some rest a while. Then,it was told to us that sunset point here is outstanding. So along with cameras off we stepped there. It was the topmost point there around 7000-8000ft high. Coldest too! Having felt the sunset,we had Maggie for our small appetit and then dinner which was compulsively taken at 8pm. After that we played antaksari. And that was the bonfire and feel which every person's imagination goes!

Kalatop to Khajiar
This was fully into the trees,and water and most of the trek was ascending.  We left Kalatop at 7 am and reached the hostel of Khajiar at 2pm. It was around 10 kms.We were told earlier that either in the Khajiar it ll full green,snowy white or barren land. And our luck had experience the 3rd. Still, we made it ,as we had a DSLR ! Clicking photos,of the full open land ! Later was just a game evening !

This day, it was quite a sunny day! Plus the trek was fully descending! And we were on just a single walkway from the top of mountain. This went challenging for me. It is possibility that you might twist your ankle or knee. Plus blisters!! Which I had ! Still I made through  it being the last person to arrive in the last base camp. The 1st thing I did was remove my shoes and stay barefoot for a day! Reaching the valley in chamba,we were told that the trek was over and you can either choose your own way or return to base camp of Dalhousie! So we chose to go to chandigarh by leaving chamba and collecting our trek certification. We literally caught our vehicle to chandigarh by asking each and every passerby,Haha! Well if you wish,you can also choose to go McLeodganj. So this was our adventure roller coaster here!
