Mandi to Prashar lake :-
Prashar lake is one of the best lakes situated in Himachal Pradesh . Located at an altitude of 2730 mtr. The distance of prashar lake from mandi town is approximately 68 km. You can go up there on your personal vehicle or you can take bus from mandi Busstand to reach at there .
We decided to go there on our bikes because we have travelled alot on bikes and we love to ride bike on such terrain because we want to feel that place.
when you reach kamand (40km from mandi) you can read this board because one road from here goes to Kullu which is left side but you have to take right side for prashar lake . After 2-4 km we took a break for 5 minutes
Mandi to prashar lake Bike ride:-
After few kilometers away we reach baagi village which is a popular village in prashar terrain because in winter you can reach baagi and after baggi you can see snow all around . And baggi has also a bus stop .
After baggi you can enter into a deep forest where only silence you can feel and the cold weather will give you goosebumps 😜... And after few kilometers we reach at prashar .but we didn't go to lake side because its almost 5 pm and we decided to stay at camp which is 2 km away from prashar lake .. you can take the same route and go ahead . Krishna camping is one of the best camps at there . affordable price and the service was extraordinary at that place. We paid 3000 for 2 nights breakfast and dinner included . If you go up there I recommend you to stay at camping and enjoy the weather and environment.. I can share videos as well in photoblog where you can see how how beautiful this place is..
