Overview

Undeniably one of the most offbeat treks in and around Himachal, Shepherd’s Trail takes you through the vast remoteness of the Kangra Valley, tucked away in the Western Himalayas. It is often used by the nomadic shepherd tribes, locally known as Gaddi, to cross over from Kullu to Kangra. A moderate trek, its trail crosses dense alpine forests, emerald green meadows, and picturesque villages. As you plan your next escape, here’s all you’ll need to know about the 2-day trek in Dharamkot. Check out the detailed itinerary below for more information.
