We started our trip from Yamunanagar (Haryana). We opted to start early because of the movement restrictions in Uttarakhand due to covid. At 5:00 am we hit the paddle and within 1:30 hour, standing tall at uttrakhand border for showing the passes and covid reports.
Although it was a foggy morning and after the crossing the check-post we managed to reach mussorie in just 40 minutes.
After reaching mussoorie, we checked into the hotel that is on mall road by the name Hogwarts. Surely this is a catchy name especially for potter heads. After checking in four of us took a long nap and woke up around 1 pm.
So now we are refreshed and ready to hit the roads for gasping some mouth watering food. We ate a lot including all time favourite choley bhature, maggie obviously, idli dosa, and lot more.
Weather is inviting us to get all from this place. Temperature is around 5 degrees and chilly winds are adding cherry to the top.
Then we carried out a ritual called clicking photos that is mandatory though. After finishing this, we witnessed the magnificent sunset from the sunset point that was the best part. Heading back to hotel we took some liquor to fight the chilly weather and had a great chinese dinner at renowned place in the whole mussoorie situated on mall road.
Came back to hotel and relaxed a bit then carried out a liquor session with some good music and balcony ofcourse with a beautiful view.
Woke up around 11 am due to madira paan and then hunger striked all of us. We quickly have omelettes which are also famous there and then we headed back to our base point i.e. HOME SWEET HOME
