Day 1
A weekend trip to Harihar fort in Trimbakeshwar range,located around 50 km from Nashik road railway station.Harihar fort is basically a flat topped moutain(mesa) consist of basaltic rocks. The plan was to start very early morning and reach by 05.30 am.We reached an hour late in the destination. We have opted two wheeler for our journey.The
ride was very bumpy one but the destination was absolute calm and cool. The trek till fort base was easy but the main leg of trek is climbing those almost vertically slopped mountain up to the top. In the fort there are couple of caves,storage house,water tanks and a temple atop the fort. The top offers a 🐦 eye view of the region
