Every country renders fascinating concepts to the travellers visiting their land. Vietnam is no different, having been known for its bay cruises, lamp cities and more. Hanoi is one of the oldest Vietnamese cities, and has always attracted travellers from across the world.
In the older part of Hanoi, there exists train street. While it might not sound anything interesting, given the fact, many cities have train lines passing through the city.
But what makes this place unique, is the sight of train going through a much cramped narrow street, with crowded cafes on both sides.
There are only certain times during the day when this train passes. The authority is extremely cautious in ensuring that, people safely move away from both sides, when the train crosses the narrow street.
While travel is a lot about finding these interesting places, it is also about knowing the genuine issues related to a place. In this case, many people including Hanoi-dwellers have been complaining about the safety of people in those cafes on both sides of the train line. In October 2019, the government agreed to take steps to close those cafes, and it is yet to be seen, what happens in future.
