After nearly 6 months of being lockdown, we tip toed out of the house and into the lap of nature. Our mini Independence Weekend Getaway was just the little respite we needed to feel like our travel bug selves. Unlike most of our road trips, this was just 1.5 hours to The Heritage Resort, Manesar, Gurgaon. The resort just off the Delhi – Jaipur highway is a massive property, lush with lawns and ample space for Mishka to chase squirrels. An added feature our trip was the most important safety precautions and sanitization of the property. We made sure we were heavily quipped with our own safety gear, minimised interacting with the staff and nearly bathed in sanitizer.
