Someone has said it right. If you want to experience how heaven looks like you should visit JAMMU AND KASHMIR. Jammu and Kashmir is the northernmost state of India locked in Himalayan Mountains. Jammu and Kashmir is home to several Valleys. So I went to Jammu last year for 4 days. It was one of my most favorite trips till date. I am a mountain person so i tend to like all the hill stations but there was something different about this place. Long back when my dad was posted in RAJOURI I couldn't really travel much and explore A) Because i was too small and we stayed in the cantts. B) No phones, cameras, or social media to show off ???? Thanks to my relatives for making me a part of their trip and taking to this amazing place. So we reached Jammu at around 12 and then we all planned to visit the local attractions that were the famous 6 MUGHAL GARDENS But we visited just 5 gardens that were Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashma Shahim, Pari Mahal, Achabal Bagh. If you are a fan of greenery and love nature you should definitely explore these places and get pictures clicked. We also went to one of the famous temples in J&K
Shankaracharya Temple. There are 243 steps leading up to the temple area and another
8-10 steps from there to the temple hall. Views of Srinagar are possible from the top of the hill. .
OH HOW CAN I FORGET THE SHIKARA RIDE IN DAL LAKE ALONG WITH HOT KAHWA IN A COLD WEATHER. Couldn't ask for mor e
Day to was exciting. We got up at 8 and left for GULMARG. It is a town, a hill station & a popular skiing destination. Gulmarg has one of the worlds highest Gondola. The ride is a little expensive. It costs Rs. 600 & 800 respectively for above 3 year kids to adults including return trip. We just went to the 1st part and trekked a little from there.
