I am sure everyone must have heard about this place as it is known as one of the four abodes of India according to Hinduism. I am living in gujarat and dwarka is just 130kms away from my city, so i have visited dwarka many times. As a tourist destination dwarka is still developing beautifully. It took only 2 days to visit dwarka and the nearby places like Shivrajpur beach, Nageshwar jyotirlnga temple and Beyt Dwarka.

Day 1

We can easily reach Dwarka by bus or train. I always prefer the train as it is the cheapest and fastest way to get there. It took only half a day to visit the Dwarkadhish Mandir (Jagat mandir). Apart from the temple there is a beach on the other side of river Gomti, to go there we have to cross the Sudama Setu bridge to pay INR 10 only. And there is also a sunset view point on the bank towards the temple side.

After sightseeing around Dwarkadhish temple we went to see Shivrajpur beach which is just 11 km from Dwarka. We can reach there by road only, for that if we don't have our own vehicle then there are taxis and auto rickshaws available. They charge INR 30 to 50 per person. Shivrajpur Beach is a beautiful beach, it gets a little crowded on weekends and is still developing. There are some water sports activities to do. Apart from that we can enjoy the beach vibes and beautiful sunset there.

Day 2

Next day we went to Okha Jetty from where we reached Bet Dwarka by boat. Beyt is an island, it takes only 10 minutes and INR 30/- per person only. There are several temples dedicated to Lord Krishna and his family. Temples are closed from 12 to 4 pm. So choose morning or evening time to visit the beyt. We visited Beyt in the morning and by afternoon we covered most of the sites at Beyt like Dwarka Temple, Dandi Hanuman and Soneki Nagri Dwarka Dham.
