It is among the most beautiful palaces of India. It is also a popular shooting location for varios bollywood films like R rajkumar.
I went to attend the most popular Rann Utsav at White Desert Kutch. After visiting White Desert we returned back to Bhuj for night stay. Next day we hired a taxi to reach Mandavi.
We visited the Vijayavilas Palace in the morning and later spent our evening at the Mandavi Beach.
The palace is 7 km from the center of town. It is open every day from 9am-1pm and 3pm-6pm.

Bhuj-White Desert-Mandavi-Bhuj
Day 1: Arrival in Bhuj; Local Sightseeing
Day 2: Drive to Dhordo and attend Rann Utsav; Enroute visit Kalo Dungar, India-Pakistan Border.
Day:3 Drive Bhuj to Mandavi; Visit Vijayvilas Palace.
Evening time free for leisure at Mandavi Beach.
Drive back to Bhuj
