Trip one: Somnath

Sons are the anchors of a mother's life. My son and me travelling lovers. We are three total on this trip(one of my friend).

We had started from Rajkot to Veraval in Night by train as the train was delayed one and half hours. We reached Veraval morning 5:30 fresh at the waiting room and had breakfast next to the railway station of veraval.

Reach Somnath by Rickshaw from veraval. If you are on a quick trip, put your luggage in the cloak room of Somnath trusts Locker with very minimum cost. After Aarti generally less crowd gets darshan easily at this time. Around half an hour is required for darshan (take much time on Monday,shravan month, shivratri, shiv pradosh). Somnath temple facilities are very comfortable for children & senior citizens.

We had proceeded for lunch at trust bhojanalay, it was the cheapest & best Hygienic option in Somnath for meals.

For a few hours rest we had taken dormitory “BEST” options,IF you don't want to take rest visit nearby points of prabhas patan (Main door of temple find easily sightseeing vehicles). But My points of priority is only DARSHAN BEACH SUNSET & AARTI LIGHT & SOUND SHOW. In Early evening Beach time , As I love sunset view from Temple sight. OFcourse in the evening after aarti must have to proceed for the LIGHT & SOUND SHOW(tickets available in temple corridor after aarti only) behind the temple.

As we had 2 hours in departure of my train, we planned for parcel dinner & that is too SHIVSHAKTI Restaurant PAVBHAJI & PULAV .. While writing, remembering the taste of pavbhaji my mouth watering. CHECK OUT from the dormitory REFILL Water Bottle from the water filter of the dormitory

We had a train departure around 10:30 from SOMNATH. had dinner & Sound sleep for next 5 hours . reached rajkot station by cab rickshaw @ sweet home with lots of Fastest & Cheapest mode trip memories.
