The aerial distance between the two places is about 42 kilometers. On the other hand, the distance between Veraval to Sasan Gir is around 43 kilometers by road. In this case, the aerial distance is about 38 kilometers. Direct trains ply from both these railways stations to all the major destinations in the country. Another choice is the Rajkot railway station. The distance between Rajkot and the Gir National Park is about 165 kilometers. By road, the total length is covered within a time span of three and a half hours to four hours. This is a significant railway station which has numerous connections to all the important cities in the state.
