Unique Experience With An Asiatic Lion

Hello guys!!

This is not about planned trip but this is about something unplanned surprise. I want to share my unique and friendly experience with a male asiatic lion.

My village is in the "Bruhad Gir" Area. Where the lions live outside the forest reserved area. Approximately 20 lions live around my village area.

One day I was sitting alone in a river bank next to my farm. I was scrolling through my phone under a tree. Suddenly as I raised my head and I saw a giant male lion walking towards me. For a moment I was not sure about what to do! But I decided to not to move. I let lion come little closer to me. Lion came so closer and changed his direction little bit and sat next to me ( Distance was about 15 feet ).

I thought I should change my place and move away from the lion. But I noticed the lion was quite relaxed. So I tried not to disturb him. After some time he fell asleep and I was observing a king of the jungle from very short distance. Can't be lucky any more! Just imagine spending 3 - 4 hours sitting next to the lion alone, and I was lucky to experience such a thing.

Now the sun was setting down so I decided to leave and the lion was still sleeping.  It was one of the best experiences of my life.
