International Kite Festival or commonly known as Uttarayan is one of the most famous festival of Gujarat celebrated between Jan 8th and 14th in Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat and other parts of state.
In Ahmedabad, it is celebrated along the Sabarmati Riverfront. More than 100 kite fliers from 30 odd countries participate in this annual grandeur.
