As it is known to us that Goa is synonymous to fun, relaxation & parties. This union territory of India offers such a soothing gentle breeze to you which blows all of your anxiety & stresses from your life. This is a must go destination at least once in a year to refresh your soul as well as your health.
Day-1
Me & my 3 friends started our journey towards Dabolim Airport at around 11:30 a.m. & reached our hotel in Baga at 1:30 p.m. by pre-paid taxi from Airport, which costs Rs. 250/- (fixed rate chart is displayed on the counter). After taking lunch followed by a power nap we go to beach-side , where you will get lots of options to enjoy- Dance floors, Candle light dinner, cozy sofas with beautiful decoration. As it was Saturday we got the chance to check out the Saturday night market at baga.
Day- 2:
We are checking out for North Goa sight-seeing by our pre-booked cab (online). If you follows the beaches like this, your tour will be systematic & time- saving- Arambol, Morgim, Anjuna-Vagatore (Chhapora Fort), Aguada Fort, Spice Garden (where you can find varieties of spice plantation & if you book for lunch , they will serve you the food made from their own farming. Later on you must visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus (the oldest church of North Goa). Lastly we have visited Mangueshi Temple, which is the ancestral tutelary of Lata mangeshkar.
Day- 3:
We checked out for South Goa city tour & also followed the itinerary- Palolem Beach, Colva Beach, Miramar beach & lastly Dona-Paula sunset point, which is named in the name of 2 lovers- Dona & Paula.
At night we go to discs- Tittos, mambo's, you really get fun when you came to know that the ladies entry is totally free
Day- 4:
As I have heard about the Estrela Do Mar Beach Resort (4-star Hotel), we want to enjoy the charm of beautiful services & amenities of that resort, so we checked in there. It is really a very good stay in Calangute.
Day- 5 :
We checked out for Candolim & stayed at Poornima Lodge, though it is a Budget hotel, but their service is really good. Candolim holds the traditional charm of Goa like roadside cafes with live music performances, where you can spent your entire evening without any monotony. I just loved Candolim for its traditionalism. In the evening we go for the Mandavi river Cruise, which is also a good experience.
Day- 6:
We checked out for Doodhsagar falls in the early morning, as there will be long queue for Govt. alloted zips for going to the falls level through the forest if you are getting late. you will be provided life jackets as the entire path after getting down from the zip is full of upward & downward slopes. Though the water is very cold & deep , still many of tourists enjoy their swimming in the water.
Fortunately it was Wednesday, we got the chance to visit the Anjuna market at the time of returning. This is actually a Hippie exchange of commodities. Apart from buying & selling it also offers live performances ranging from rock to jazz.
Day- 7:
Finally the day comes when we have to say Goodbye unwillingly to Goa.
Spl points:- 1. The trip will be more exiting if you hire a bike/ car by yourself from the card rental services.
2. Goa provides a wide variety of markets. So the trip will be more exiting for those who loves shopping
