Goa, phew! There's so much to do yet nothing to do....the beach, the shacks and beer --- bliss it is! North Goa is buzzing yet has a relaxing fun vibe to it.

Beaches are fun, happening and crazy- all at one. The locals are terrific. The food is delicious and the alcohol is cheap. What more could you ask when on a holiday!

Anjuna, Vagator, Baga -- these are the beaches to cover. Get a scooty, i took a Vespa for most of the trip and also got a Thar for one day to explore an island nearby. Goa is all about laying at the shack and guzzling in chilled beers --- the party scene is absolutely amazing - from Punjabi, to Bollywood, to trance , to reggae -- you name it and there's a hip joint for your music taste.

The food - local and otherwise in the joints - kick ass. Panjim city has an old school charm to it. Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church is breath-taking. The prayer session is surreal.

Place to stay - Mykonos Blu

Places not to miss --- For Foodies -- Black Sheep Bistro, Panaji, Red Frog, Fat Fish, Infantria, Guru shack at Anjuna.

My trip was all about wandering and exploring all that i could beyond the beaches- and was luckily able to do so. Discovered a beautiful place when I took a detour from the Vagator beach --- don't have it on a map, but was worth stumbling upon.
