A bridge across the water

I was in Goa for a couple of days. A friend suggested that I must visit the Palolem Island Reserve, South Goa.

Unfortunately, it was pack up day, but the owner suggested I come over for an hour long trek. Took me some 90 minutes to get there from Utorda. The road is spectacular and do stop to admire the cashew trees if in bloom.

Normally, one could do a morning sunrise trip of 4 hours which includes breakfast or a sunset trip that includes dinner. Everything local and green, including a ride in a fishing boat to the island and off-grid solar power.

The reserve has been set up to do research on the local eco-system and preserve local endangered species.
