How we 6 escaped to Goa together on a 20K Budget

By afternoon, we reached Panaji. Our first aim was to search for a two wheeler dealer and bargain with him to the least amount possible. And luckily, within no time we found one. You need to get on top of them to make them negotiate with your terms. With 500 for two days, we rented 3 Dio scooters and straight away made our way to the Hotel we had booked online.

Also, Petrol is way cheaper here compared to other states. Gabriel's Guest House is a very nice and refreshing place situated at Calangute, near to Calangute Beach and Agauda Fort. It only cost us 1100 bucks for two rooms. Soon after that we hit the road, but first we needed to make our empty bellies full. This was my second trip to Goa and I already had the experience of how much expensive the food can be in this part of the country. We were literally flabbergasted to see the Menu of some of the Road side Restaurants.

Without wasting much time, with our glasses on, we hit to Calangute Beach, One of the most happening beach in Goa. Nobody should get surprised if they don't get vehicle to park or to land their feet on the ground near the beach during weekend afternoon. It is like a mini kumbh mela. When you see the waves hitting the shores and the cool breeze constantly kissing your face, you would realise all the odd things you faced from the start till now was worth it for this moment.

After drenching in the never ending tides, we all had a lovely stroll till Baga beach. It was time to explore the night life of Goa, from Colourful Shacks by the beach side to Cruise Casino, Goa has so much to offer.

Second day, Early morning drizzle made a perfect weather to resume our Journey. During the proceedings, we vacated our rooms. Aguada fort was first on our list.

Following that, we headed towards Old Goa to visit St. Francis Xavier's Church and the Museum adjacent to it. As the day progressed, the humidity also started to pour in and thus throughout all these, one thing which kept us halting after every 10-15 minutes was the thirst. There was no end to buying Water bottles from every other corner. As I mentioned earlier, we kept on looking for the place with moderate prices for food and sometimes, we did succeed in finding these hidden places in Goa.

Finally, our journey ended at the very famous Panaji Church where we were lucky enough to witness Traditional Goan Wedding Ceremony. The vibe from the surroundings of it totally makes you feel like that you are in some European Country. When the Sun started to set, we bid adieu to Goa just to restart our normal boring Bangalore life once again.

It was indeed a memorable 2 day trip and moreover than that, an economical one too.
