Many people associate Goa to cheap booze and getting yourself let loose.
Well. That just part of it.
There is other part of Goa as well which has history, architecture, local folklore, culture, customs and traditions.
I particularly like south Goa because villages are small and not crowded like North.
Secondly you have bigger properties there where you can relax well as they have good facilities like massage and spa.
I personally recommend cavellossim and salcete area. They are thickly covered with trees due to which they are relatively cooler.
Roaming around market area near cavellossim beach is great experience. The market has good bargains.
Move over to salcete/betul area and you can feel what old Goa used to be. Hope it continue to be what it is today.
