We travelled by car from Hyderabad to Goa -- Distance approx. 678.5KM . Beach: Palolem is known for its beautiful crescent – shape which makes it possible to see both the ends from the center of the beach. Palolem is lined with palm trees and colorful wooden shacks, the beach faces Canacona Island and also known as Canacona beach. You will find options to stay in beach house. This is one of the best beaches in India, the water is nice and clean, unlike most Indian beaches. Also, this beach is less crowded. One can visit Butterfly, Agonda , Talpona and Galgibaga beach which are nearest from Palolem Beach. These beaches are in South Goa. There are also beautiful beaches in North Goa like Calabgute, Anjuna, Arambol, Baga, Vagator, Morjim .

The cuisine of Goan people is mostly seafood-based; the staple foods are rice and fish. Kingfish (vison or visvan) is one of the most commonly eaten varieties of fish.. Other fish varieties include pomfret, shark, tuna, sardines, and mackerel. Pork Vindaloo and Prawn xeque xeque, Chicken Xacuti are most popular dishes.
