I traveled from Mumbai to Goa by a sleeper bus with 3 friends. As soon as we reached Goa, we took a cab to our place of stay, SinQ Beach Resort. We were welcomed warmly by the staff and the rooms were kept ready for us even though we had reached before the check-in time. The rooms were well lit and spacious. We first had our buffet breakfast which included, sandwiches, eggs to order, paranthas and coffee. The food was great, especially the paranthas. After this we enjoyed in the swimming pool of the hotel itself which was very clean (swimming attire is compulsory).
At around 4 P.M. we left the resort and visited Baga Beach. The beach was not very crowded at this time so we could relax and enjoy the view while having our drinks at one of the shacks. You may want get inked by one of the local tattoo artists who paint a temporary tattoo at a very low price. Girls can also get their hair braided.
After a relaxing evening we came back to the hotel and left for the most popular club in Goa, "Love, Passion and Karma". It is a beautiful place and with unlimited drinks at a reasonable rate, it is a place you must visit. The music is really amazing and the party goes on till 4 in the morning.
The second day started with breakfast in the resort itself. After which we visited "Basilica of Bom Jesus". The church is located in Old Goa and the drive to the church is scenic, making it very pleasant. The church itself I very beautiful and is a UNESCO world heritage site. You get amazing Gola's(Flavored ice) and ice creams outside the church to beat the heat.
After our visit to the church we left for Vagator Beach, to a place called Thalassa. It is a resturant with a beautiful view and amazing Greek food. People generally go here to sea the sunset and enjoy the view. Table reservation is recommended as it get very crowded in the evenings.
After another wonderful evening we headed straight towards Anjuna Beach, Goa. Here we visited Cafe Lilliput and it was Bollywood night. We danced all night by the beach to some great tracks and thoroughly enjoyed till 4 A.M. In case you are interested, they also serve Sheesha (hookah) by the beach.
The third day started of late, and as it was our last day, we spent the some time in lazing around in the pool. At around 3 we visited Calangute beach where we enjoyed a few water sports (snorkling, parasailing etc). They offer great packages but it is very important to negotiate the prices. I personally would recommend water sports at this beach.
Finally we ended our trip by visiting Candolim Beach where we relaxed by the beach and enjoyed a foot massage. We also had coconut water here which was really great. From here, we went to out hotel, collected out bags and left for Mumbai.
Overall, Goa is one of the best places to party and relax. The people are very warm and chilled out. It is a perfect place to forget your everyday schedule, sit back and enjoy.
