3 Days trip to Goa

  So it all started with a random planning to vist goa on a budget trip with my husband as i never visited it before.It turned out to be the best trip and a great chage from routine lifestyle.
Knowing December visit to goa will be costlier than usual visit ,we booked the flight tickets before before 2 months which costed us around ₹11000 round trip to Goa from Hyderabad.And we made the hotel booking prior two months which costed us around ₹6000 in oyo flagship hotels.
Finally the day has arrived to travel with all our bags packed and full of excitement ,we reached Rajiv Gandhi International airport at 3pm,and boarded the flight at 5:00pm to our memorable trip and reached Dabolim airport at 6:15 pm.
The moment we walked out of airport we are surrounded by lot of private cab drivers offering us 1500 rupees for way private hire to calangute and 800 rupees shared trip for same destination. With lot of discussion between us we have decided to choose to travel with government prepaid taxi considering the safety and assurance during night travel.We reached calungate by 8:30 pm .We have checked in Oyo flagship 14391 Eden garden in Holiday street ( Calangute) which is decent place for families to stay.We freshened up and had dinner in local Chinese restaurant ( Name: Chinese garden ) which is at walkable distance from the hotel.The atmosphere was colorful and pretty with Christmas lightening. The food was good and great atmosphere.We returned back to the hotel and dozed off around 10:30pm.

GOA BEGINS..

To have a peaceful beach experience we woke up at 5:00 am in the morning and had around 2 kms walk to calungate beach from the hotel.The cool breeze, sound of the waves and feeling of sand gave us a warm welcome.It was so peaceful as there was no public early in the morning. We took few pictures and had a walk from Calungate to Baga without even knowing the time. After that we returned back to the hotel and had our breakfast. With the help of the hotel staff we rented a bike which costed us around 1000 for two days.
Later we headed to Anjuna beach which is one of the famous beaches in goa for water sports and had our lunch in Anjuna Beach sunset bar  cafe ,with a good beach view.
After lunch we have been to Anjuna flea market which is 500 metres away from the beach. Flea market is packed up with lot of shops and fancy clothes which is one of the best street shopping in goa.From there we have been to Chapora fort and Vegator beach and headed back to hotel. We had candle light dinner at Calungate beach front and spent some time walking along the beach while enjoying music and party lights and clear sky.

We started the day early and headed towards Candolim beach,This is the most recommended beach to visit early on the morning as the tides and the climate was different from other beaches.After spending couple of hours we headed to Aguda fort.Aguda fort has a spectacular view of sea. Out of our plan we visited Ashvem beach which is 30 mins ride from Aguda fort.In Ashvem beach the sand was different and the water was clear that the beach mirrors the sky.It is one less know beaches beautiful , pleasant and low populated. We spent some time and then headed towards Arambol Beach.The route to Arambol was along beach  road covered  with lot of coconut trees, street shops and village spots.We had our luch at Arambol Beach and spent time in water ,enjoyed and sunset and headed back to hotel. On the second day we had dinner at Candolim beach front enjoying the tides at Arabian shack .

On the last day of our trip we have decided to visit Basilica of Bom Jesus one of the oldest churches of goa,it took around one hour to reach this church from our hotel.We also visited the Archeological museum of old goa which is on the other side of the road. Immediately we headed back to the hotel to check out and to return the bike .Then we booked a cab through Goa miles application similar to ola and uber ( best source of cabs in goa ) and reached Panjim the capital city of goa ,we have to been to Lady Immaculate Conception Church,and did some shopping had some street food for our luch and had a walk along Manderi river , casino pride and then took local bus to Miramar beach.As we had couple of free hours we decided to go for boat ride  to 🐬 Dolphin spot. Around 4:30 pm we booked a cab in Goa miles application and headed back to Airport.
Finally we ended our trip on a happy note.
