TBH Diu, is India’s best kept secret. A former Portuguese colony that is still as idyllic as it once was. Colourful houses, tiny cafes, markets, beaches that are some of the most solitary ones in India—this and much more is what makes Diu.
Centuries old Portuguese buildings have the Arabian Sea lapping at their parapets. If you have had too much of Goa, and too little of quaint sea life, Diu is where you should be heading to. Expect a surprise tinge of Gujarati hospitality as well, for this island borders the very colourful state in western India. An old lighthouse by the sea is, of course, as good as it can get.
It's broadly divided into two part, i.e. Moti Daman and Nani Daman. One being the administrative hub, house to ruins of forts, light house and Churches. Other being the quintessential party destination, which very much will give you Goa vibes minus the population. Yeah you heard that right!
That's the fort(ruin)
Church of Bom Jesus
Church of Our Lady of the Sea
Our Lady of Remedios church
And the iconic place.
I am hungry, let's have the best sea food Daman has to offer. Oh the Bombay Ducks!
Probably only place where I liked squid.
And some fine wine please.
The best ever sunset you can witness.

And that's a wrap.
Pro Tip:
Don't waste time here and there, stay near to Jampore beach, you will find great food, booze, and sunset. Wait, isn't it why you are here?
Happy vagabonding.
