Goa!!

Though it's the smallest state in India, it has everything to offer for everyone. From amazing DJ nights to peaceful candle night dinner at the beaches, from marvelous churches to awesome temples, from a cruise to a Casino, Goa attracts tourists from across the globe.

I had been to Goa twice with my friends. During my first trip, I had been to South Goa and visited the famous churches like Basilica of Bom Jesus, Church of St. Francis of Assissi, roamed around the Margao city, a day cruise at Panjim, visited the Dona Paula view point and Miramir Beach.

During my second trip, I mainly visited Northern part of Goa and I will share my trip itineraries below.

Reaching Goa - We planned our Goa trip just a week before and the best option we thought is to travel via a flight. We booked an Indigo flight from Bangalore to Goa. Departure from Bangalore was at 12 am and reached Goa around 1.15 am. You can also reach Goa by bus or by train. You will have a mesmerizing sight of the Doodhsagar falls if you are traveling by train.

Day 1: We booked a 1bhk cottage via Airbnb at the Siolim, Goa. The cottage was very good. The hall was spacious, the kitchen and washroom were well maintained. There was a pool just behind the cottage.

We had breakfast at a nearby hotel and headed back to the cottage. The climate was very hot outside and we decided to stay inside the cottage during the day time. In the evening we headed to the most happening Baga beach and roamed around the Tito's Lane.

Tito's lane is a very busy street that leads to the Baga beach. There are so many nightclubs and restaurants in this street. Most of the shops will be opened through out the mid night. This street never sleeps with nightclubs and restaurants opened till early morning.

Day 2: We had breakfast at a nearby hotel and spent the day time at the swimming pool. Since the climate was very hot, we decided not to roam outside in the afternoons.

We went to Baga beach in the evening. Baga is a very popular beach in North Goa. It was very crowded and there were so many water sports happening at the Baga beach. Also, there were so many fish spa's near at the Tito's lane. We had the fish spa and it was really good.

There are so many shacks who play good music and serve great food. You can even go for candle light dinner with your partner.

After having dinner at one of the restaurants at the Tito's lane, we headed back to the cottage.

Day 3: After lunch at the nearby hotel, we headed to the beautiful Anjuna Beach in the afternoon. Anjuna beach is another very famous beach in North Goa.

Anjuna beach was less crowded than Baga beach. I felt Anjuna was way better and peaceful than the busiest Baga beach. The were few water sports happening at the Anjuna beach. Like Baga beach, we can find shacks who play good music and serve some good food at the Anjuna beach.

Since the crowd was less compared to Baga, we did a lot of photo sessions and sun set was really awesome.

Day 4: Back to Bangalore
