Unlike typical star hotels, have you ever visited a boutique hotel where everything fits the theme so perfectly that you get immersed into the exteriors and interiors so easily by feeling at home instantly? Well, if not, you must pay a visit to Prazeres Boutique hotel whenever you plan for Panaji, Goa. Fortunately, I could visit it during my fashion week in October 2021. Even though I spent a few hours over there, I felt so good with the luscious greens around and most importantly the sea breeze as the hotel is kind of nearer to Miramar beach!
It was one afternoon of my goa trip, where I had to get decked up with makeup and costume at this very hotel according to the schedule planned for the day by our agency. So after rehearsals at Dona Paula, we have rushed to this hotel and soon after I visited I had a smoke because it was exotic and liberal indeed.
During my hair and makeup transformation, I somehow managed to capture the surroundings a bit and also after everything got done, all the models had their designer portfolio photoshoots at the serene backdrops of Prazeres Boutique hotel. I was no exception and with that costume, I couldn't explore too many backdrops but I selected one mustard wall which looked appealing in terms of colour and texture. If you ever plan a photoshoot or have a peaceful stay, one must consider this place as an option. I still feel a bit here and there, for not exploring this place completely during my visit. Yes, but I got some lovely pictures and I thoroughly enjoyed the photoshoot too.
The show was over and we, the gang of 7 people wanted to extend a trip for more days to explore goa. I wanted to bid proper byes for my people who were staying in the boutique hotel. So, I asked my brother to take me to that place so that I can also explore it one more time. I met my girls, picked up the stuff I forgot over there the before night, had some conversations and finally left the place after capturing some interiors and exteriors of the hotel.
I was typically in athleisure wear with a sports bra and shorts. I didn't mind going out like that because Goa is way more open-minded than any place in India. I felt like myself for not giving a damn. Speaking of such an attitude, one beach can give any person the freedom to be oneself and that's Vainguinim beach on the shores of Cidade de Goa. After that hotel visit, I went back to my hotel and my model pals wanted to have a beach photoshoot. I was exhausted and feeling low for various reasons but I didn't want to disappoint them.
Hence, I suggested visiting Vainguinim beach, one of the beaches of the Panjim region. So we all packed our bags with clothes mostly summer designer wear, bikinis and swimwear because that was exactly the beach one could easily have any kind of bold photoshoot without thinking about the crowd and restrictions. As I mentioned this beach is quite liberal in many terms. More than the beach, the way toward it stole my heart because of its narrow paths. I felt it so mysterious when suddenly the ocean popped up out of nowhere at the end of that path crossing many trees, twigs, canals and water passages.
We reached in the evening during the sunset and the sun was like orange candy. The waves were cold, the sand was warm and the breeze was fresh enough to smell the pebbles around. It was naturally exotic. And when I visit beaches my Thalassophile personality wants me to sit alone on a rock by kicking the waves at my feet and embracing every aspect of a beach shore. While I was walking towards the shore by crossing and capturing every spot on that narrow path, I was mentally exhausted and lost all zeal towards vacationing. But the waves of Vainguinim beach kicked my spirits back and I was once again appreciating my time in goa to the fullest.
While I was immersing my emotional self in that beach water under the last light fall on the waves, my pals have grabbed a rocky corner to place their bags and got into their costumes to get into the photo shoot. Around the middle of the photoshoot, the light failed and my mood was elevated to get some pictures at the beach. Fortunately, the photographer brought his handy light set up with him, so that he can shoot night portrait modes at the beach.
Many fellow travellers crossed our paths but none of them bothered us or peeped into our happenings especially when we were changing on the shore and getting into swimwear and bikinis. The darkness gradually filled the sky and night took over its place and the shore shone brighter with the lights from the 5-star resort space of Cidade de Goa and the lights from the other beach shores around Panjim. That particular view is inexplicable and one must witness with utmost love towards nature to understand the artistic feature of a night at this very beach.
Somehow I got an idea to get captured with that backdrop and after a few minutes I saw myself wet in waves posing boldly to the camera without thinking twice before giving some steamy expressions as we all were models, everyone had their own limelight space at Vainguinim beach shore. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole shoot on that late evening in Panjim and we were equally exhausted by the weight of the sea breeze.
We had super fun getting drenched in seawater, playing around with sand and climbing sea rocks for poses. hence, we became quite stinky and we rushed back to our hotel to clean ourselves and get ready for another party at Anjuna.
That particular evening at Vainguinim beach after spending some good time at Prazeres boutique hotel was all about appreciating little things.
