Day 3

So Finally the visit to the Forts came to end when drizzling began. But it was the perfect time to try some delicious hot foods and drinks in that weather. I and my friends decided to try some authentic Goan Dishes that afternoon and then return back to our appartment and get our dress changed and then go for some party. My friends are always overexcited about my planning cause I am a best travel planner 😅(pun intended). As I had planned this whole Goa trip in just 4 days before our journey started on 13th July. So we were standing outside the Majestic Fort Aguada when I looked into a small shop in front of us that was selling soda drinks. We took shelter in the shop and ordered for three Nimbu Shikanji. Wallah i didn't expected the lovely Shikanji from the little shop, it turned out to be amazing. It was drizzling outside and our drinks were over amazing. One of my friends took out on the go JBL Bluetooth speaker from his backpack. And we played some Romancing rain music. Within a span of 15 min when I was searching for some great restaurant in Zomato. The shop was full 😆 with tourists as they were getting both music and drinks. From an empty shop turned out to be full with lovely music on the go speaker. I met many travellers there, they enquired about our trips and plans, we shared some experiences and the meanwhile the drizzling stopped. So it was 2:00 pm afternoon and it was the time finally for some food. I had found an authentic Goan shop in Nerul near Coco Beach. Its name was Rita's Restaurant and Bar. We rode as fast as we could but safely as  we couldn't resist the lovely foods calling us. So finally we reached the restaurant. It was big and spacious enough to accommodate more than 70 foodies at a time. But luckily at that time there were only a few people eating . We took a comfortable seat in the ac and enquired about the foods and beverages. The waiter was very helpful and helped us to try some dishes . We ordered almost everything and began our countdown for the foods to arrive. We ordered Goan prawn curry with rice, an authentic Goan fish thalli , chicken tandoori, golden prawn , some roti, fried rice, chilli chicken, a tequila based cocktail, a pint of beer and finally a lime soda. I am sure all of you who are reading my blogs can relate how big foodie I am . So finally my foods arrived on our tables. As you guys can understand that I am a great foodie and everytime I forget to take a picture of the food before I start eating. Same happened here but luckily my friends managed to take some nice shots before I pounced on the dishes. My friends being a Bong don't like fish much but myself is a perfect Bong( Bengali) so I tried the king fish thali. The moment I tasted , it was just fantabulously tasty , I suggested my friends to try and when they tried they ordered 3 more extra king fish fry . After a very heavy sumptuous lovely lip smacking food . We paid our bill which was very budget friendly. Finally we decided to return back to the appartment as we were over full. Some of our tandoori chicken got extra as we couldn't,  so we decided to refrigerate it for eating at night. After returning back to the appartment our plans changed for the night as were full we decided to take some rest and then finally go to beach again and then go for some shopping . In the evening we went out for some shopping we visited the Tibetian Market, some tattoo shops, some shops in Baga, Calangute and finally got some dream catchers for my friends. Then finally we took some tea sitting by the side of Calangute beach and then drizzling started and finally we had to return back to our appartment. We also bought some groceries for the next morning and some Maggi for the dinner. Then my friend cooked tandoori chicken Maggi and I don't remember what happened after that. Stay tuned to know what happened...
