Working in a Germany based company, I am blessed to come to this country often and finally decided to write about the trips I did in Germany since several years now and hope the list will still grow over years :)
Lets start with the highest mountain in the country. Yes! Zugspitze in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria. At 9,700 feet, this peak is covered in deep snow almost half the year. At the top, the sensational panorama opens up to reveal legendary views of 400 mountain peaks in four countries!
Luckily the sun was shining and we rented a slide and had fun the whole day.
Nuremberg
Here we visited only its zoo. The Nuremberg zoo is one of the most beautiful zoological gardens within Europe. It is situated in a huge, splendored park whose characteristic features vary between rugged rock formations consisting of reddish sandstone, hundreds of years old trees and idyllic wetlands and ponds. There is an unique interaction between flora, fauna and landscape that offers real fun and recreation for adults and kids as well.
We enjoyed walking in the nature amidst different animals. The highlight of the trip was seal and dolphin show.
Legoland:
Time to become kid again!! Comparatively small theme park but was perfect for younger kids.
Berlin and Potsdam:
Time to explore the capital city. We went over weekend by renting car. We could explore Potsdam, Brandenburg Gate area, Parliament area, Olympic stadium, check point charlie point and of course the Berlin wall.
Trier:
Oldest city of Germany. we went only for a day and hence targeted only Porta Nigra and Trier Imperial Baths.
The fairy tale castle:
Yes its the Neuschwanstein Castle. Interior of this castle is not at all worth but the outside nature is worth visiting several times :) And the castle looks different in different seasons. I still want to visit this when its covered in snow. Lets see!!! I have now visited it once in summer and once in autumn.
The walk up to the castle, its views from Marian bridge near by (20mins walk), boating at the lake are really worth a day visit.
Lake Königssee
A boat ride along the sheer rock faces of Lake Königssee, the jewel among Berchtesgaden lakes, makes for a special experience. Lake Königssee with its emerald green color and nestled at the foot of the imposing eastern wall of Mount Watzmann in the heart of the Berchtesgaden National Park is one of nature's true masterpieces.
Europa park:
Time for some roller coasters!! I had ultimate fun here with friends. The silver line was really thrilling.
The unique flower island in Germany. Mainau Island lies just off the shores of Lake Constance in the far south-west of Germany.
The romantic Partnach Klamm and walchen See:

Tripsdrill wildlife park
A stroll through the wildlife park promises both relaxation and excitement. Over 50 different animal species live in the 47 hectare park. The large outdoor enclosures allow you to experience fallow and sika deer up-close, pet them and even feed them by hand. As well as seeing the wolves, lynx, bears and more being fed, the majestic birds of prey will wow you during their flight demonstration at the falconer‘s grandstand. Otters can also be watched swimming and frolicking around. The forest adventure path, barefoot path and a large adventure playground with high ropes course invite forest adventurers both big and small to explore nature.

Breitachklamm:
The Breitachklamm is a gorge created by the river Breitach in the Allgäu region in Southern Germany. It is one of the deepest gorges of the Bavarian Alps and the deepest rocky gorge of Central Europe.
Bad Wimpfen : YES!! Christmas time!! Bad wimpfen has the oldest and most beautiful traditional Christmas markets in Germany it seems. The stroll in this beautifully decorated, festive lights lit, having half-timbered houses streets is a walk to remember!! One of my favorite Xmas place is this one “Altdeutscher Weihnachtsmarkt Bad Wimpfen”. The Kaese spaetzle here is still lingering in my mouth :)
