Sikkim bullet trip

Whenever if you planning a motorcycle trip one word hold your breath some seconds is bullet, yes, One of my dream came true last year. My long time craving bullet trip completed on sikkim last Dec16

When we start planning passage from the day one itself we are in in furor. Day by day the planning was implement like booking bullet booking lodge on the way, according to that we draw route map and finally Finally we all are set out and start our voyage.

Actually we planned Sikkim & Bhutan, but we manged Sikkim only because of the bike permit problem in Sikkim. We skip Bhutan and accomplished north Sikkim finally.

Hired bullet from siliguri and start ride to Gangtok. When we all entered Gangtok and sleep with memories , very next day morning we are heading to north Sikkim, on the way everyone asking you people are going with bullet , we said yes. continually the people said the road is quite tough and bit risky, (that all out-flowing words are like passing one ear to another ear for us) but we later understand why they asking, there only four wheeler and hire vehicles are preferred to travel. Like us crazy bulletiens give a try to drive in two Wheeler . In mangam there is only puncture shop and petrol bunk available in entire north Sikkim.

Covered kalimpong, pedong, nathang valley, lachen, lachung, gurudongmar lake and zero point After ascending & descending we understood the difficulties of handling our bullet is not an easy task, but we fantastic four never intermit the ride and complete it somehow

Came with lot of memories, witnessing the beauty of nature, cold, crisscrossed road like (silk route)to reach gurudongmar lake as well as rugged path what we crossed all over north sikkim , most of the paths are really tested our patience, we faced adequate problem with bike like puncture two times, engine oil tube hole in two bikes and front wheel bearing break in my bike

Anyone need a terrific route ride pls try north Sikkim, but not sure in future they would be like that. All the way they are preparing to asphalt
