Located in Andhra Pradesh is Gandikota, popularly known as the Grand Canyon of India. Lets talk about how the roads are to get there, as I'm sure you'll figure out the means of transport by yourselves. I went there by road from Bangalore. Let me tell you, it was a beautiful drive. The roads were smooth and maintained well. And we passed by beautiful sunflower fields, cotton fields, chilly fields and many other fields. Take some time with you while going so that you can stop and explore these fields and take some pictures. Please do not pluck anything without asking the locals there.

I had planned to cover Belum Caves along with Gandikota. Reached Belum caves by 11:30am. Belum caves is the longest and largest cave system open to public on the Indian subcontinent. It took me around 1-2.5 hours to cover the caves completely. From there I headed to Gandikota, around 4:30-5pm, after a good local meal. Reached in time for sunset, my tent was ready. The view was breathtaking. Had a bonfire setup at night and had a local meal for dinner, super spicy but delicious. Next morning, I went down till the water, where they have the kayaking facility. Did kayaking, it was so serene and a calm experience. Post which I left for Bangalore again :)
