Our Blissful day starts at morning 7 O'clock..
Arrived at Gandikota, in the state of Andhrapradesh, around 4 O'clock .Actually 290 kilometres from the city Bangalore.No epass required for AP.
Our program was very simple, to stay there for a night and witness the awe-inspiring sunrise 🌞 in the morning..
So we had our camping tents and sleeping bags with us..that we got from Shaddys tent in Bangalore..with very affordable prices..
Just before Gandikota, there is a resort called Haritha..around 200 meters from the spot. We had very little expectations for the paid privileges from the beginning of the trip..as you can't expect all the facilities during this covid phase..
We found their staff very friendly and supportive..Their working staff Chanaiya, is really a nice fellow to catch up with.
Bhaskar another staff there, has guided us to the parking lot, and as per the request, we got the camping site permission and enjoyed the night with our campfire...food and smiles..
FYI-you can also find boating camp & other camping sites near Gandikota.
The next day morning around 5 O'clock, we had left for the destination, followed by a couple of stray dogs.It was a bit scary although, we thought, they were also tripping to Gandikota for sunrise view
As the morning sky light got us. We had moved towards the mountain Cliff and and allowed ourselves to get mesmerized
And got embarked by the view. That the nature has bestowed upon us for decades to witness
Sunrise time IST 5.45 Am
It was really an amazing trip. Now this is a must see place in my @travelgodz diary
