I moved to Hyderabad a few months back from Bangalore. I was not so happy, by listening from People that there are not much places to explore/adventure near to Hyderabad on weekend trip.

One Evening, My friend Abhishek also new to Hyderabad (Explorer, Cyclist, Amazing cook etc). I heard many stories of his adventure trips and picnic back in Pune. He said, lets plan a trip. So just like "LIKE -MINDED PPL" we agreed to explore Gandikota on coming weekend.

We started at 4:30 AM from Hafeezpet HYD. Gandikota 400 KM from Hyderbad, Route we took - Via Gooty, Nice Road till Gandikota

On the way we decided to visit Belum Cave around 40 KM before Gandikota. Its a 1.5 KM long cave.we spend 1 hour out there. There was very less oxygen in the middle of the cave but sufficient enough to breath.

Abhishek is awesome photographer as well. I tried my hands on his camera too.

We reached Gandikota at 1:00 PM in the afteroon. it was hot but cool winds were blowing. We explore the area and surrounding of Gandikota Fort.

WOW, This was the view from the top of the Rocks. River, Grass & Rocks.

We took a break there to enjoy the view. When we looked down to the River and the Grass. We ask each other "Dude, we should trek down to the river" And the answer was " LETS GO, Find a way"

We trek down the river through a narrow escape which was at 50 Degree angle slope. At beginning we though its easy. as we go down 100 meter it was very hard Trail. Because of your body balance and rocks were sliding.

We took a break in between and decided "Go slow, Go safe"

Here is the feeling of when you look up at something very Mighty. and realise that it was a worth to trek down to river.

Contrast of Brown and Green Nature LOVE

We met this shepherd, we didn't understand each other's language but magic of human brain we communicate so well. He told us the other ways down to river and his name was Binaswami.

Great example of Sustainable product. He was wearing these Chappals Made of recycle tyres.

We walk further to explore the beauty of this place.

After all the Day adventure we decided to camp on the top.

We start preparing for the dinner . I Barbecue for the starter with the drinks.

Aloo

Meanwhile Abhishek cook BAATI on the Angaaras

Later he prepared Bangan ka Bharta on earthen utensil (mitti ka bartan) It was so yummy. we talked and enjoy evening looking at stars and no one around. JUST INTO THE WILD
