Shrimanthgad fort is located at a distance of 15 kms from Shirahatti in Gadag district. Historically it is associated with Chatrapti Shivaji and legend is that the goddess Holeyuramma Devi gifted a sword to Shivaji. There is a beautiful temple of Holeyuramma devi here.
