France is beautiful and popuar country of Europe.
France is not only famous for its natural beauty but also popular among Europe because of its art, fashion, industry, beaches, classical art museums, cathedrals, palaces etc. France has marvellous villages. France is also popular because of its wine and cuisine. France has many famous monuments like Eiffel tower.
Paris is its capital .

These towns are first choice for art lovers.
So I will tell you how to explore Strasbourg and colmar which are part of France but these are close to Germany border.

Strasbourg:

Strasbourg is a cultural city of northeastern France . It is cultural city which lies near Germany border.
Strasbourg is a beautiful town that lies on bank of river Rhine.
Strasbourg is famous because of its magnificent arectitecture.
Gorgeous cathedrals and palaces enhance beauty of Strasbourg . Strasbourg is a old city of France .
Strasbourg is a home to European parliament.
It has unique cuisine. It is famous for its art , architecture, colourful markets, cafe, restaurants, beautiful streets,

Tourist places of Strasbourg are :

1. Cathedral Notre Dame Strasbourg:
This is a beautiful cathedrals of Strasbourg. Its opening timing is fixed. Its star attraction is astrominical clock. You can also climb terrace and enjoy beautiful views. Only sophisticated dress wears are allowed to enter.  They didnot allow off shoulders dress wearers. Glass work of this cathedral is amazing. It is master piece of Gothic art.

2. Barrage Vauban :
It is historical landmark that went you in 18th century with old houses, beautiful streets, blooming flowers. You can also  see small boats running in the river. You can also take cruise to enjoy old neighborhood. Actual it is old bridge or dam of 17th century that is covered. After climbing stairs you can reach terrace to enjoy panoramic view of surroundings.

3. Place Kleber:
It is lovely square with lots of shops, plaza, colorful lighting. You can relax here, sit here. You can do photo session as there are many artistic buildings . You can also do shopping, enjoy cuisine here. During Christmas days, it became adorable. It is also a historical landmark.

Colmar:

Colmar is old city of France which is situated in northeastern side of France near Germany border.
It is city of artistic buildings, cobblestone streets, beautiful landscapes. It is part of Alsace region. Colmar shows blend of two cultures Germany and France.
Colmar is famous for its fountains, churches, ancient houses . It has Gothic 's 13th century artistic buildings.
This town is situated on the route of Alsace. Its tourism is popular because of village life.

Tourist places of colmar are :

1. Le petite venise :
Le petite venise attracts tourists with its small canals, beautiful decorated bridges, timber wooden houses, wines , beers, small restaurants etc. there are many bars . You can hire small boat to explore the entire area. This area is very picturesque with its colourful ancient wooden houses. Small canals enhance its beauty.

2. Unterlinden museum :
It is wonderful museum with remarkable collections of architecture and art. In colmar it is worth watching . Its paintings shows culture of France, there is ticket worth € 13 for adults. Also it has wide collection of old books. Audio guides are also available in different languages.

3. Collegiale saint martin de colmar :
It is large 13th century church. It has beautiful Gothic arectitecture. It is Roman catholic church. This church has colorful roofs. It is beautiful both from inside and outside. Interior was amazing with combination of different colors.

4. Statue De la liberte :
It is replica of actual statue of liberty. It looks preety fantastic. Main problem is traffic but you can easily park nearby and walk for few minutes or seconds to see the statue and do photo session. For photos evening and morning is the best time.   This statue is 12 meter high.

5. Au Vieux Pignon:
It is one of oldest building of colmar. It was made in 1588. It is unique because of its two brands one is Red iron and other is old wood bear. It is a like a gift shops  having  many different souvenirs of France. During Christmas this place became more charming and decorative.

Colmar has many other places. With Strasbourg and colmar both cities can be included in weekend trip to get relief from busy life. Best time is in summer season.
