"Paris", the name says it all. The city of light and love. A French fairytale stitched and knitted with all the French love.
I really don't have anything extra to add about Paris. My trip was highly possible due to the extreme co-operation of my school-friend and her hospitality.
Visiting the capital of France was always on my to-do bucket list, and when the call came by that my friend was free to host me, i was on cloud9, (literally).
Arriving in Paris didn't blew me away since i live in Milan, and the euro experience is kinda constant, but what tickled my brain was the drastic change of the lingua franca. From a habituated Ciao to changing it to Salut , from grazie to Merci, the French Invasion was slowly crawling into my italian connection.
Nevertheless, English saved me from getting thrashed by Napoleon and i survived by speaking it.
The beauty of Paris can honestly not be captured in two days. My whole trip was primarily centered around visiting around the famous spots in the city , checking out the Louvre, having an amazing time with my friend and of course enjoying the french culture and cuisines. From the fashion streets to the Eiffel, from Moulin Rouge to Lido, it was indeed a fun and extremely enjoyable trip.
Coupled with Paris, i was somehow able to squeeze in a day trip (thanks to her extremely kind colleague who happens to be a French resident) to Versailles , to visit Napolean's Palace.
Looking forward to revisiting again, till then, I hope my pictures will speak about my trip.
