Remember how your heart swelled with joy as a kid when you saw your favourite Disney characters come to life on the screen? And how you wished you could step into their magical world and join them on their adventures? Well, at Disneyland® Paris, that age-old dream of yours can translate into a fantastic reality for your little ones! Watch your child's face light up with wonder as they fly over London with Peter Pan, follow Alice down the rabbit hole, meet their beloved Mickey Mouse in person, and help Anna throw a surprise party for Elsa.

However, travelling with toddlers can be a daunting task. But with a plethora of services and amenities at Disneyland® Paris specially designed for families with young children, you can leave your worries at the entrance and immerse yourself in the magic of the park. Need a pushchair? No problem, you can rent one right at the theme park. Want to cool off on a hot day? Head to the kiddie pool and let your little ones splash around while you relax. And if you want some alone time with your significant other, you can take advantage of the in-room babysitting service at Disney resort hotels.

At Disneyland® Paris, the fun never stops, even for the tiniest of travellers. Here are some tips to make your visit even more magical.

1. Early to rise, early to ride

The early bird catches the worm, as you can opt for the most popular rides with minimal wait time. Arrive at the park early in the morning to beat the crowds and make the most of your day. Plus, you can take a midday break for lunch and naps, and head back to the parks in the afternoon when everyone is well-rested and ready for more fun.

2. Take Advantage of the Rider Switch Option

Couples with young children smaller than the height requirements for certain rides can take turns enjoying the attractions. The "Rider Switch" option allows one parent to wait with the child while the other rides, and then switch without having to queue again. That way, everyone gets to experience the magic without any added time.

3. Enjoy Solo Time with Single Rider Lines

Who says alone time can't be fun? With the "Single Rider" service, you can skip the long queues and enjoy some of the most popular attractions at Disneyland Paris. This free service is perfect for those who don't mind being separated from their group and are ready to embark on the adventure solo. Plus, you can brag about your speedy access to your friends later. With a special entrance and minimal wait time, it's a win-win situation.

4. Skip the Lines with Direct Premier Access

For the ultimate VIP experience, you can opt for the "Direct Premier Access" service at Disneyland Paris. This paid service gives you speedy access to some of the most sought-after attractions, thanks to a dedicated fast lane. 5. Experience Extra Magic Time as a Disney Hotel Guest

If you've checked into a Disney Hotel, you're in for a treat! As a guest, you'll have the opportunity to experience the enchantment of Extra Magic Time. This exclusive perk allows you to enter parts of the Disney Parks before anyone else, giving you precious moments to meet your favourite characters and enjoy select attractions before the official opening hours of Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.

6. Find Convenience at the Baby Care Centre

Babies = diapers, bottles, and lots of love. And at Disneyland Paris, there's a place dedicated to taking care of all those needs. The Baby Care Centre, located at both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, provides a convenient space for parents to warm up bottles and meals, change diapers, and even purchase baby essentials like nappies and food. It's also the perfect spot to regroup if you've become separated from your little ones.

7. Rent a Stroller for Easy Transportation

Don't want to lug around a stroller all day? No problem! Disneyland Paris offers stroller rentals at convenient locations within the parks. Simply head to Stroller and Wheelchair Rentals in Disneyland Park entrance or next to Studio Photo in Walt Disney Studios Park to rent a stroller for the day. It's a great way to keep your little ones comfortable and save your arms from carrying them around all day.

8. Ensure a Restful Night for Your Little Ones

After a long day of fun and excitement, your little ones will need a comfortable place to rest their heads. Luckily, all six Disneyland Paris hotels and Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch offer baby cots for a peaceful night's sleep. So tuck them in and let them dream of all the magical adventures waiting for them the next day.

9. Meet Disney Characters at Character Dining and Birthday Parties

Food, friends, and fun, all in one! Make your child's day even more special with a reservation for a Character meal or a birthday party at Disneyland Paris. Not only will they get to enjoy a delicious meal, but they'll also have the chance to meet their favourite Disney Characters up close and personal. And keep your eyes open, because Characters may even make surprise appearances throughout the parks! It's the perfect way to create memories with your little ones.

10. Let Kids Play at Themed Play Areas

We all know that kids have endless energy, and Disneyland Paris has the perfect solution to let them get the "wiggles out" while still having a blast. Let them explore Alice's Curious Labyrinth in Fantasyland, venture through Adventure Isle in Adventureland, or run wild in the Frontierland Playground. These play spots are not only fun but also themed to the Disney universe, adding an extra touch of magic to the experience.

11. Discover Attractions Tailored for Young Children

While Disneyland Paris is a dream destination for all ages, it's important to make sure that the little ones are having the time of their lives too. That's why it's worth seeking out attractions and activities that are specifically designed for younger children. Some rides or shows may be too intense for them, so be sure to check beforehand and plan accordingly. This way, everyone can enjoy the magic of Disneyland Paris at their own pace and comfort level. For this, we recommend you to download the Disneyland Paris app to check out the attractions fitted for the little ones.

12. Plan Ahead for a Stress-Free Visit

We understand that planning a trip to Disneyland Paris can be overwhelming, especially with young children. That's why we recommend booking your table reservations and buffets up to two months in advance. This not only guarantees you optimal availability but also allows you to choose from a wide range of options. Simply call the Dining Reservation Service at +33 160306053 (international call rates apply) or book at your hotel's reception desk or reserve your table directly on the Disneyland Paris app.

13. Travel with Ease on the Magical Shuttle Service

Forget the hassle of navigating public transportation with your little ones and opt for the convenient Magical Shuttle service. With buses running 7 days a week between Orly and Roissy CDG Airports and Disneyland Paris, you can sit back, relax, and let the magic begin. Tickets can be purchased online, at the Magical Shuttle desk at Roissy CDG Terminal 2E/2F, travel agencies, or at the Comité Régional du Tourisme Ile-de-France information desks located in Charles de Gaulle and Orly terminals. You can even buy your ticket directly from the driver.

Parenting may not always be a walk in the park, but at Disneyland Paris, it can be! 🤗 With these tips and tricks, you can make your trip with toddlers a breeze and focus on making magical memories with your family.

So let your inner child come out to play and join in on the fun with your kids. After all, as Walt Disney himself said, "That's the real trouble with the world, too many people grow up."
