We did an early morning trek to Ounasvaara Ski Resort, which was very refreshing as everything had been snowy and pristine! People would usually also go there for skiing down the hills and along the trails.

We got up the wooden slippery stairs to this viewpoint/skiing top, around 10- to 15-minute walk away from the Lapland Hotel Sky Ounasvaara.

The view from inside is great too. We got to see a view from the hills of Rovaniemi, the biggest city in Europe!

We treated ourselves with the hot drinks from the hotel minibar. We have fortunately stayed with friends a kilometer away from Ounasvaara so we have not booked a stay at the hotel but we bought our drinks from there, when we made a stop from the viewpoint.
