Faizabad, the first capital and legacy of the Nawabs of Awadh, now lies in Ruins!

Shuja-Ud-Daula rests here along with his mother. His father Safdarjung’s grave was also here but it was later shifted to Delhi. In Delhi, his tomb is beautiful in red sandstone comparable to that of Humayun’s Tomb.
