Hola people! As we all are being locked up inside our homes and miss how life was used to be before this pandemic, we're here to rescue you from that boredom for a couple of minutes. As it's the summertime, and swimming pools and water parks have always been at our service to beat the scorching summer heat, here we bring you some of the World's most exciting, interesting, and dangerous Water slides. Let's get started!
1. SPA RESORTS HAWAIIANS, FUKUSHIMA, JAPAN
This water park houses one of the craziest water slides in the entire world. It's not just incredibly long and fast, but also has some insane and trippy lights on its walls that will literally make you lose your mind. Have a look.
2. TOBOGGAN SLIDE, PALERMO, ITALY
The most epic part of this entire water slide is that it ends up not in a swimming pool but directly into the Sea. Located in the Citta Del Mare Hotel, this is a three-level water slide that'll drop you in three swimming pools and finally ending you into the grand Castellammare del Golfo in the Mediterranean Sea. This one is purely exclusive only for the hotel guests. Here's a glimpse of it.
3. INSANO, BEACH PARK, BRAZIL
This water slide with almost equivalent to the height of a 14 storey building, once held the record of being The World's tallest water slide. The most interesting thing about this water slide is that it's almost vertical in build and makes you feel like flying. This slide offers a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean from the top. In short, this water slide totally justifies its name. Insane!!!!!!!
4. SCORPION'S TAIL, NOAH'S ARK, UNITED STATES
Boarding this water slide will make you feel as if you're boarding a rocket. The water slide is build up in the form of a tube and drops you at a speed of 30 mph which then increases to 40 mph. Just like the previous water slide, even this water slide is almost vertical in the build-up and is purely savage and one of its kind. Moreover, Noah's Ark water park is considered to be the water park capital of the world. Impressive!
5. AQUA PARK, VERTIGO MSC PREZIOSA, MSC CRUISES
Once in a lifetime opportunity, this water slide is actually located on one of the finest luxury cruises in the World, MSC Preziosa by MSC Cruises. Another interesting fact about this water slide is that it offers a transparent clear trip, over the side of the ship and offers an unobstructed view of the ocean. Watching this clip will make you believe that it's indeed once in a lifetime opportunity.
6. SPACE TUNNEL, YALI CASTLE AQUA PARK, TURKEY
I would say that this water slide doesn't drop you off rather it throws you inside the swimming pool. And if you get unlucky, you may even get stuck. Not a basic water slide, it has such a wide tunnel which will eventually lead you to the swimming pool but before that, it'll make sure to give you a whole 360° ride and then turn your head upside down. Have a look.
7. BLACK HOLE, DAVOS, SWITZERLAND
This water slide is actually so dark, that you just can't see where are you heading to or where is it leading you to. Plus, it has some insane neon lights on its walls and their creeping darkness that are enough to get anyone tripped.
8. SHARK ATTACK, ATLANTIS THE PALM, DUBAI/LEAP OF FAITH, ATLANTIS, BAHAMAS
There are water slides and then there is a Shark attack. Like any other water slide, this one will also drop you off straight into a swimming pool but only after you've got a face to face encounter with the real sharks waiting for you during your ride. You can experience the same thrill with the Leap of Faith in Bahamas as well.
9. JUMEIRAH SCEIRAH, WILD WADI, DUBAI
This water slide will simply look harmless from afar like any other basic water slide. Extremely tall, one needs to climb a 32 meters tower to reach the starting point of this slide. The fact that makes this slide unique is that it doesn't just extend from such a high tower, instead, it drops you directly below it. Sliders are released down in a vertical position that raises their speed to almost 50 mph.
10. CANNONBALL FALLS, MOUNTAIN CREEK WATER PARK, NEW JERSEY
Being shutdown in 1996 and then reopened in 2014, this water park was earlier named Action Park Water Park. Talking about the cannonball falls, unlike other slides, the ride isn't the real thrill about this one. Instead, the fact that it drops you off into a swimming pool at the height of 10 ft and with so much pressure that you can end up getting shoulder, neck or head injury if you get unlucky. The park was nicknamed as the 'Accident Park' due to reported injuries in the past.
I hope that we all find an end to this Pandemic soon so we all can get these thrilling water slides chucked off our bucket list. Stay safe! :)
