Itinerary of the trip:
Day 1: Arrival in Egypt
Arrival at Cairo airport. Meet and assist by our representative who will help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Transfer to your hotel for free time.
Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara
Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to discover it from inside?
Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed? Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara. Transfer to Giza Railway to board your seated train to Aswan.
Day 3: Aswan Tour - Felucca
Arrival in Aswan. Meet and assist by our representative. Meet your guide to commence your tour to the High Dam, Philae Temple, and the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk.
Board your Felucca. Enjoy the Nile landscape in Aswan. Lunch and dinner on board. Stop on the banks for a peaceful night.
Day 4: Camel Market - Kom Ombo Temple - Luxor
Breakfast then set sail from Aswan to Daraw. Visit its famous Camel Market (every Saturday and Sunday). Then set sail from Daraw to Kom Ombo. Lunch then visit the twin temple of Horus and Sobek together with the Crocodile Museum.
Day 5: Luxor Highlights
Breakfast at the hotel, then visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon on the west bank of Luxor.
Lunch at a local restaurant, then visit the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Transfer to Luxor railway to board your seated train to Cairo.
Day 6: Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili
Today, you will explore the fantastic contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of the Egyptian past are displayed on the two floors of the museum. Eye-catching objects such as the golden treasure of Tutankhamen, the silver treasure of Psusennes I, the diorite statue of Khafre, and several other pieces are on view. From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, built-in 1172 to protect Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the Citadel. You finish your tour at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.
Transfer to Cairo airport for final departure.
